PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW)

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATMmachine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.
For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321.
The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM cardyou placed in the machine
The machine will still give you the moneyyou requested, but unknown tothe robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.
This information was recently broadcast on CTV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists.
I checked with my Bank of Nova Scotia to see if this was correct andstaff said yes this information is correct.

PUT YOUR CAR KEYS BESIDE YOUR BED AT NIGHT
Tell your spouse, your children, your neighbours, your parents, everyone you run across.
Put your car keys beside your bed at night. If you hear a noise outside yourhome or someone trying to get in your house, just press the panic button foryour car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sounduntil either you turn it off or the car battery dies.

It's a security alarm system that you probably already have and requires noinstallation. Test it. It will go off from most everywhere inside your houseand will keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset itwith the button on the key fob chain. It works if you park in your drivewayor garage If your car alarm goes off when someone is trying to break intoyour house, odds are the burglar rapist won't stick around... After a fewseconds all the neighbours will be looking out their windows to see who isout there and sure enough the criminal won't want that. And remember tocarry your keys while walking to your car in a parking lot. The ala rm canwork the same way there ..... This is something that should really be sharedwith everyone. Maybe it could save a life or a sexual abuse crime.
